Ama Dablam
Field Touring Alpine has been running trips to Ama Dablam every year since 2005 and have placed members on top on every trip during that time. Join our very experienced guides and staff for a great trip to the Matterhorn of the Himalayas!
Aconcagua
FTA has run more than 25 trips to Aconcagua by the Falso, Normal and Polish Glacier routes as well as by the Normal route in the Winter. We have a great time with our members from the start to the finish and if you like red wine, high mountains and golf we are sure you'll enjoy our trips!
Broad Peak
We have been to Broad Peak more times than any other commericial outfit and know the trip very well from Islamabad to the top and back. Our experienced guides, high altitude porters and BC staff will make this a memorable experience for you and if you are looking for a remote 8000m expedition to the Karakoram then Broad Peak should be on your list! The trek to K2 BC alone is worth the effort and friends and family are welcome to join you for this 24 day adventure!
Cho Oyu
The trip from Kathmandu to the top of the world's 6th highest peak includes high passes. landslides, high plateau's, dusty roads, steep snow and ice and amazing views. Cho Oyu is proving ground for many climbers aspiring to climb Everest and we invite you to join us for a well organized and affordable trip!
Ecuador Volcanoes
FTA enjoys a great record of success and fun on our trips to Ecuador's Avenue of the Volcanoes. Over the years we have made our way to top of many of the volcanoes in Ecuador inluding Cayambe, Chimborazo, Cotopaxi, Guagua Pichincha, Imbabura, Illinizas Norte, Pasachoa, Rucu Pichincha and more. We have bathed in the hot springs of Baños, shopped til we dropped in Otavalo and lazed by the ocean in Atacames. If you are looking for a great introduction to high altitude alpine climbing at high altitude then look no further! For the more experienced we offer extensions to Chimborazo and Antisana!
Pakistan from Islamabad to the Karakoram with Dave Hancock
FTA founder Dave Hancock has been to Pakistan too many times to count and during this time has taken a massive numebr of images of cityscapes and moutainscapes. Enjoy a few of his finest!
Classics
2011 images
In 2001 Dave travelled in around the Skardu valley by jeep and motorcylce. During his travels he encountered terrible conditions in Talis which had just suffered a devastating mudslide. Dave and FTA donated tents and supplies to the people of Talis and hope that our small contribution helps them to rebuild.
